Crowns

One of the best tools we have for repairing a broken, chipped, or otherwise unsightly tooth, is a ceramic crown. Dental crowns are very common and are made of a durable material that will last for years to come, restoring functionality to your tooth. Your dentist will smooth the tooth to form a post where the crown can rest. Then a mold is taken, and a crown is custom made to fit your jaw and replace your affected tooth. This process is usually done with sedation to make the process more comfortable.

At Northwoods Dentistry we take the time to individualize our approach to your dental care, and so your crown will be made to your exact specifications. The process for installing a crown is relatively routine and your crown should last for several years.

Benefits of getting a crown:

If you have any questions about how we place crowns and use them to restore your oral health, call or email Northwoods Dentistry and we will be happy to assist you. We are here to give you back your confidence in your beautiful smile.
