Dr. Murphy has been a dentist for over 20 years. He went to college at Virginia Tech, and is a huge Hokie fan. After dental school at the Medical College of Virginia, he completed an AEGD residency in the US Air Force. After finishing active duty, he moved back to Virginia with his very expectant wife, Tara.
He had his own practice in Virginia for 10 years before he met Dr. Satterwhite from Phillips, WI. After some family discussions, Tara and Mike decided to sell the Virginia practice and move back to Tara’s hometown in the Northwoods in 2011. With a passion for dental implants, he has immersed himself into continuing education with over 1000 hours, and over 300 of that specifically to dental implants. He is a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Tara and Mike have 5 children and are big supporters of local music and athletic programs in our communities. Mike is also the head varsity volleyball coach in Prentice.
Dr. McMannes grew up in Woodbury, MN, a suburb of St. Paul. After that, he attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND for his BS in Zoology. Then he went to Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee where he graduated in 2019.
Dr. McMannes is passionate about dentistry. He is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association and American Dental Association. He has learned a lot about how dentistry is changing on the technological side and is looking forward to bringing those skills to the community in Rice Lake. Caring for patient's individual needs with compassion and kindness is one of his top priorities.
When he's not at the office, you can find him outdoors hiking, camping, biking, and fishing, with his wife, Maren. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Anna Goetz has wanted to practice dentistry since elementary school. After growing up in Hartford, WI, she pursued a biology degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Anna attended the Marquette University School of Dentistry and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Anna loves the practice of general dentistry and has a particular interest in endodontics, prosthodontics, and restorative dentistry. Passionate about patient care, Dr. Anna strives to ease her patients’ fears while providing honest, efficient, and compassionate dental care to achieve the most confident smiles. Dr. Anna is a member of the Wisconsin and American Dental Associations and is enthusiastic about continuing education coursework to provide her patients with the most innovative dental care.
While out of the office, Dr. Anna, her husband, Chris, and their son, Otto enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking, skiing, boating, and hunting with their black lab, Piper.
Dr. Theresa grew up in Park Falls, WI. Her interest in dentistry developed when she fell on the ice and chipped her front teeth. After high school, she attended Chippewa Valley Technical College for dental assisting. While working her first job as a dental assistant, she found her passion to become a dentist. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where she received a BS degree in biology. Dr. Theresa continued her journey to become a dentist by receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Theresa enjoys spending time with her family and fiancé. She also enjoys doing many activities outdoors which include camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and campfires.
Dr. Theresa enjoys getting to know her patients. She is passionate about dental health and working in small communities.
Dr. Kim was born in Miami, FL, but grew up in rural Honduras and New Orleans, LA. From a young age, she was fascinated with smiles and recognized people by their teeth. She was known to be excited to get her teeth cleaned and carried a toothbrush and toothpaste in her book bag. With a natural tendency for listening and empathy, Dr. Kim pursued a Bachelor's in Psychology at Loyola University New Orleans, before seeking a path toward patient care with a Master's in Physiology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the Marquette University School of Dentistry.
An animal lover, she has several pets, and in the future plans to participate in animal rescue programs. She is fond of Wisconsin's natural beauty, regularly taking excursions to WI State Parks for hiking, swimming, and relaxation, joined by her husband Damion.
Dr. Kim is motivated to make dental care approachable and accessible for all patients, including those that are uncomfortable with the dental setting, helping her patients easily attain their dental health goals!
