Mindy is a receptionist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working for Northwoods since 2012, making sure their patients are comfortable and well taken care of. Mindy grew up in the Kennan/Catawba area and graduated from Phillips High School. She attended UW-River Falls, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, riding on the back of a motorcycle, and spending time with family. She is always ready to help and comes to work with a smile on her face!
Amy is a receptionist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working at Northwoods since January 2018. Amy grew up in Kennan and has lived in Prentice with her husband and two sons since 1995. She enjoys the learning aspect of her job, the amount of options for dental care that Northwoods offers, her Northwoods Dentistry family, and of course the patients.
Brenda joined the Northwoods Dentistry team in 2016. Brenda is passionate about getting to know our patients and making sure they receive quality service and positive attention from our front office. Brenda's goal is to incorporate her wealth of knowledge in customer service that she has acquired over the years, to best serve our team and our amazing patients. Her outstanding professionalism along with her heart-felt compassion will be here to help bring out your best smile! Brenda has enjoyed growing up and raising her beautiful family here in the Northwoods.
Lauren is a dental hygienist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been providing preventive dental care with Dr. Murphy since 2011. Lauren grew up in Phillips and went to North Central Technical College in Wausau where she received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids, running, and enjoying the Northwoods.
Tara is a dental hygienist. She has lived in Phillips since 2006 and grew up in Rib Lake. Tara received her Associate Degree from North Central Technical College in 1998. She is very passionate about her job and the well being of her patients. Tara is married with 2 children. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, swimming, & boating. Family time at her cabin brings her a lot of joy.
Michelle grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a Biology Degree and attended North Central Technical College where she earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Michelle is excited to be a part of the Northwoods dental team helping to provide custom, quality, compassionate dental care to patients of all ages. Throughout her career she has completed multiple continuing education courses on a variety of topics to help ensure Northwoods patients get the best care possible. In addition to being an active member of the Phillips Lions Club, Michelle has volunteered every year, since moving to Philips in 2002, for the Price County Seal a Smile program for which she was nominated and received a Jefferson Award. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, hiking, camping and spending time at the family cabin.
Rae loves spending time with her husband and her son, Croix, and her 5 cats! Her favorite part of dental hygiene is educating patients on the best way to care for their dental health.
Holly has lived in Phillips most of her life and loves this city because of its small-town charm. Holly's extensive education and dental background make her a valued team member, working as a dental assistant. She has been with Northwoods Dentistry since 2004 and enjoys helping the patients achieve the perfect smile. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Lori is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry. Lori has been working with Northwoods Dentistry since 2011, making sure our patients are comfortable and well taken care of. Lori grew up in Alma, WI, but has lived in Kennan since 1989. In her spare time, Lori enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Chelby is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry in Phillips. She has been working at Northwoods Dentistry since January 2021. She grew up in Prentice and graduated in 2019 from Prentice High School. Chelby was recently married in July 2021. She loves to be busy outdoors with friends and family. She especially loves being on the water, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and boating.
Ayriel has lived in the Price County area her whole life. She joined the Northwoods Dentistry team in 2023. In her spare time, she loves playing volleyball and spending time with her two horses.
Jeanine was born and raised in Butternut and has continued to work and live here in the Northwoods. She has had a variety of schooling and experience ranging from educational interpreting, middle school education and teaching, and working as a laboratory technician. Jeanine joined the Northwoods Dentistry team in 2018 and enjoys being part of a very enthusiastic, professional staff that works hard to provide the best standard of care to all dental patients.
Jeanine married her husband Bruce in 2018 and is a very proud mother of two beautiful children, Isaiah and Isabella. She most enjoys time spent with her family, working on the many home construction projects with her husband, and attending all of her ambitious and very talented children's school activities, sports games and concerts. When there is time, she enjoys hiking, biking, reading and enjoying a warm campfire on beautiful star-lit night.
Mary is grateful to live in the Park Falls/Butternut community. She enjoys the four seasons with outdoor activities of gardening, swimming, bicycling and skiing. She enjoys cooking, reading and singing at church. Mary has an Associate degree in HC Business Administration from NTC. She has had a lifelong interest in physical health and wellness and is excited to help as a patient coordinator on the Northwoods Dentistry team. She knows how very important oral health care is in relation to detection of disease and protection of overall physical health and wellness in our patients.
Ashley is a dental hygienist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working with the team since 2015, making sure their patients are comfortable and well taken care of. Ashley grew up in Park Falls and went to University of Wisconsin Green Bay, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She later attended Northcentral Technical College for dental hygiene. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and crafting.
Hannah is a dental hygienist and has been working with Northwoods Dentistry since 2015. Born and raised in the Butternut/Park Falls area she is excited to provide her services to her hometown area. Hannah started off her dental career after high school working as a dental assistant for three years while pursuing her dental hygiene degree. She attended Nicolet Area Technical College and obtained her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2015. She graduated top of her class with a perfect score on her state exam and was awarded the Hu-Friedy Gold Scaler Award. In her spare time Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, hunting, fishing and camping.
Whitney was born and raised in Park Falls. She joined Northwoods Dentistry in June 2019. Whitney loves being a dental assistant and it shows! She strives to help make coming into the dentist a bit more comfortable for those who suffer with dental anxiety. In her time away from the office she enjoys playing with her dog, picking rocks, swimming, kayaking and spending time with her friends and family.
Kelly moved to Park falls in 2020. She joined the Northwoods Dentistry team as a Dental Assistant in 2022. She lives on a hobby farm with her husband, dogs, cat, alpacas, mini ponies, and highland cattle. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, fishing, and boating.
Tara has 25 plus years of experience in the dental field. She loves helping people, and her friendly and fun-loving personality makes patients feel comfortable and welcome. Outside of the office, Tara enjoys fishing, camping, softball, hunting agates, and spending time with her family and friends.
Brittany grew up in Ladysmith and enjoys the small-town atmosphere along the beautiful Flambeau River. Brittany has been working in the healthcare field since 2011 and enjoys it greatly. In her spare time, she likes to get together with friends, take her dogs to the park, and spend time with her husband and son. Brittany's goal is to make sure each patient leaves with a smile and has a positive experience after their visit!
Meagan began her profession in 2005 after graduating from North Central Technical College and has been a Dental Hygienist with Northwoods Dentistry since 2016. Her own love for visiting the dentist ultimately led her to choose this career path and she carries on believing that creating a positive experience for patients can make a huge impact. Meagan strives to provide gentle yet thorough cleanings and enjoys working with her patients every day.
Meagan grew up in Hawkins and now resides in Bruce with her family. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.
Lisa grew up just 10 minutes away in Conrath. She graduated from Flambeau High School in 2002. She now lives in Lake Holcombe with her fiance Ed, their daughter Allison, son Tyler and their black lab Blue. She first attended Chippewa Valley Technical College to obtain a dental assisting degree. Lisa worked as an assistant in the Eau Claire area for 9 years before returning to further her education obtaining her Dental Hygiene degree. Lisa's goal has always been to get closer to home and work in the community she was raised in. She loves getting to know her patients! In her free time, she enjoys watching the Packers and Badger games with friends and family, hunting, and enjoying the doors, but also has no problem binge watching Netflix or reading a good book.
Nichole is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working with our team since 2018 and enjoys making sure that their patients are well taken care of. Nichole grew up in Holcombe and went to Chippewa Valley Technical College to receive her dental assistant certification. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. She is always ready to help and comes to work with a smile on her face!
Jade started her dental assisting career in 2017 after graduating from the dental assistant program at CVTC. She joined Northwoods Dentistry in 2020. She enjoys hunting and fishing, spending time hiking and kayaking, and taking her dogs on walks. Jade likes being able to walk the patients through procedures and make them feel comfortable about coming back in to get treatment.
Sandi is the office manager at Northwoods Dentistry. She was born and raised in the Medford area. After high school, Sandi attended UW Marathon. Uncertain if the dental field was the area she wanted to study, she took a job as a dental assistant. She has been in the field for over 40 years and has made it a career. Sandi's goal is to make sure our patients are treated well and happy to come back to Northwoods Dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, along with curling, shopping and cooking.
Tara lives in Medford with her husband, Josh and her 3 children, Madi, Ali and Benett. Some of her favorite outdoor activities include fishing, tubing, and pontooning. She and her family enjoy their 4 dogs and hunting.
Tracy is a dental hygienist at Northwoods Dentistry. She has been working at Northwoods since 2017. Tracy is passionate about her job, making sure her patients are comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. Tracy grew up in Medford and went to Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, where she received her associate degree in dental hygiene. Michelle got her Dental Hygiene degree in 2005 after she went back to school later in life. She enjoys the one on one interaction and education with her patients. Michelle has two grown children and lives in Medford with her husband. She enjoys gardening, kayaking, snowshoeing...really anything outdoors!
Amanda is a dental assistant at Northwoods Dentistry. Amanda has been an assistant since 2009 and has worked for Northwoods Dentistry since 2017. She always makes sure their patients are comfortable and informed about their dental needs. Amanda grew up in Rib Lake and resides there with her husband, Brandon, and two sons Chet and Hutch. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Amanda enjoys cheering on her husband during baseball season and traveling with him and their boys during the summer league. Amanda loves what she does, and it shows in her interactions with patients and her ability to make them feel well taken care of.
Shelbie has been a dental assistant since 2016 and has loved every minute of it. She grew up in a small country town in California and moved to the Medford area in 2019 where she lives with her small family. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending family time around a bonfire. She really enjoys helping her patients achieve their dream smile.
Alex joined Northwoods Dentistry as the Office Manager in 2020. She grew up in Rice Lake and moved home in 2017 after spending the majority of 11 years in the Twin Cities. She loves spending time with her husband and 2 sons and enjoys golfing and kayaking. She loves being in the office where she gets to spend her time with a wonderful team that works to make every patient's day a little bit better.
Katie grew up in Mayville, ND and moved to Rice Lake, WI in 2010. She loves spending time with her fiancé and child and enjoys hockey, bowling, & shopping! On a normal weekend you can catch her and her family outside enjoying a nice bonfire in the backyard roasting marshmallows. She is experienced in health care and truly loves taking care of people and their health care needs!
Gina is a registered dental hygienist and a native to Rice Lake. She attended Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, MI, and obtained her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008. She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. When not working you can find her with her family, either on the farm, at the lake water skiing or kayaking, watching movies, taking in a concert or school sports. She looks forward to working with patients here at Northwoods Dentistry.
Kennedy is native to Rice Lake. She graduated high school here and then went on to CVTC for Dental Hygiene. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, friends, and her pets.
Kailey was born and raised in Cumberland. She loves spending time with her 2 adopted cats, Wesley and Slater. On weekends you can find her trail riding on the side by side or tending to her houseplant collection.
Brooke grew up in Centuria Wisconsin and graduated from Bethel University in 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Brooke recently applied to dental school and aspires to become a dentist because she has a heart for serving others and finds the connection between mouth and body health fascinating. Brooke enjoys going on long nature walks with her fiancé Dakota, baking/cooking, and listening to Crime Junkie podcast.
Linda has lived in Arbor Vitae for the past eight years before relocating from the Oshkosh area. She and her husband, Ken of over 40 years, run a small vacation rental business. Family is everything and she loves spending time with the grandchildren and her newest addition, an Aussiedoodle named Mazie. When not at work, she enjoys getting outside hiking, snow shoeing, biking, boating, kayaking and camping.
Amy is a dental hygienist in our Woodruff Office. She received her associate degree from Madison College in 1993 and practiced dental hygiene in her hometown of Waunakee prior to moving to the Minocqua area. Amy is passionate about exceptional patient care and enjoys creating trusting, lasting relationships with her patients. Amy and her husband enjoy boating, fishing, swimming and snowmobiling. Their favorite activity is spending time with their four boys.
Briana moved to the Northwoods in 2022 and enjoys being a part of her community. She loves her job; being a dental assistant was her dream job and she loves that she gets to wake up everyday excited for work and the day ahead. She got married in 2019 and is a dog mom to her wonderful dog Poppy. She enjoys hiking, fishing, and hunting - pretty much everything outdoors.
