DR. Mike Murphy

Dr. Murphy has been a dentist for over 20 years. He went to college at Virginia Tech, and is a huge Hokie fan. After dental school at the Medical College of Virginia, he completed an AEGD residency in the US Air Force. After finishing active duty, he moved back to Virginia with his very expectant wife, Tara.

He had his own practice in Virginia for 10 years before he met Dr. Satterwhite from Phillips, WI. After some family discussions, Tara and Mike decided to sell the Virginia practice and move back to Tara’s hometown in the Northwoods in 2011. With a passion for dental implants, he has immersed himself into continuing education with over 1000 hours, and over 300 of that specifically to dental implants. He is a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Tara and Mike have 5 children and are big supporters of local music and athletic programs in our communities. Mike is also the head varsity volleyball coach in Prentice.

Dr. Austin Cook

Dr. Austin Cook hails from Ogden, Utah, and spent his formative years in Pocatello, Idaho. Following high school, he attended Utah State University, where he studied Kinesiology and Health Care Administration. He then moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to pursue his passion for dentistry at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Cook is enthusiastic about all facets of dentistry and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to the Medford community. He has a particular interest in implants, extractions, and oral surgery, which he finds especially rewarding.

Outside of work, Dr. Cook loves exploring the great outdoors. He enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, and traveling, and cherishes time spent with his wife and their dog.
